Loctite 4850 ist ein Sofortklebstoff und wird zum Verbinden von Werkstoffen eingesetzt, wenn flexible Klebestellen benötigt werden. Das Produkt ist niedrigviskos und erzielt schnelle Klebungen mit einer Vielzahl von Materialien, u.a. Metallen, Kunststoffen und Gummi.

Wird das Produkt zum Kleben, z.B. von Gummi, eingesetzt, ist die volle Komprimierbarkeit im Bereich der Klebung gegeben. Loctite 4850 ist auch besonders geeignet zum Kleben von porösen und absorbierenden Materialien wie Papier, Leder und Textilien.
